What can I donate to a charity shop?
Most charity shops accept good-quality clothing, shoes, accessories, books, CDs, DVDs, homeware, jewellery, and toys. Items should be clean and in working order. Furniture and electricals are accepted by some chains (notably the British Heart Foundation and Salvation Army) but not by most.
